Default Spotted Towhee looking for a mate

This male is singing away looking for a mate. It was about 10 feet away from the window in my computer room. Two panes of glass separated me from him and he seemed unaware of me. They are usually very wary.

Bill, this one could use some massaging of the levels for additional contrast. Try working in the R, G and B channels separately, then fine-tune in RGB. There is enough luminosity here that you probably won't have to make any gamma adjustments to compensate for the shadow alterations that you need to make.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ron. Sorry to be so long replying but I've been busy volunteering for the BC Summer Games which were held this weekend. I wish I had the expertise to do the work that you suggest. My editing program is Paint Shop Pro 7.0 and I have never really gotten beyond cropping, USM and Brightness/Contrast adjustments. I'll have to take the plunge.
Regards.
