All very crisp, clear shots. I missed the grasshopper snack the Kestral is about to enjoy the first time I looked. Very cool.
Nice work,
Steve

awesome raptor shots sabine. always a special treat when our paths cross one in the wild. yesterday i spent about 30 minutes chasing a white tailed kite all through the wildlife sanctuary. everytime i would get close, it would stop kiting and veer off. grrr.

Thanks for looking, penolta, Mike, Norm, Steve, Hung. I appreciate the comments.

I made a little trip to the High Plains and Canyon Lands of the Texas Panhandle and those grasshopper snatching Kestrels were everywhere. Caught some of the raptor migration activity coming through and saw lots of them along with Northern Harriers and Swainsons Hawks. Also Red-tails and some Broad-winged Hawks. Got one quick glimpse of a Peregrine Falcon.
