I have been chasing this elusive bird around our local airport for weeks. Today he just sat and let me do my thing. Ya never know.

1 is nice. I like the branches as they inclined in a similar angle as the hawk did. Very pleasant viewing seeing the pattern.

The off-the-camera eye contact the hawk in 2isa success. It couples with the hawk's elegance.

Nice shot, some cc... I'd maybe clone out the stick that goes across his/her chest and maybe the one on the top left as well... they keep pulling my eye towards them.

Dan----I have found that some hawks let you close and others----forget it. I have got lucky with one. Check him out---taken this afternoon.

Buzzsaw---thanks for the advice. If I knew how I would but I am not a post prossor. Wish I had the know how but am too lazy. BTW that stick is a 44000 volt hydro line.

these are great hawk shots. very nice capture. next time try post a larger sized image so that we can appreciate more of the details. this shot looks nice and sharp.
