Don,

Great captures of some beautiful birds! I love the variety of birds and their positions you have shared for us.

Perhaps my favourite is photo 3, of the chickadee. It's features and features contrast so well with the autumn colours of the branch and smooth background.

All photos are so sharp, fantastic to see these small bird's fine feather details! Well done... most of all of these photos were taken with your 200-500 Tamron lens I guess?

Regards

Paul

Thanks Paul and Hung. I had some good light for these shots that helped a lot.

Paul, I don't have a Tamron 200-500...I use either my 300L IS f/4 with or without a 1.4extender, or a 70-200L f/4 also with or without a TC. But mostly, I use the 300.

No flash used for these Hung. The light was pretty good that day, and when I process, I use the shadow/highlight tool quite a bit to bring out the shadows or reduce the highlights....shooting RAW helps a lot too....cheers...Don

Don,

all are great. I really like the chickadee details, and the same for the RWBB. Don't see many close-ups of them. Ya done did good!
