I am working on getting my exposure balanced for shots taken in the sun. It seems my Nikon D80 is factory set to expose for shadows (as I learned recently from visiting Nikon forums). This means that I have to tweak the exposure back to -1.0 for most of my daytime shots. But hey, I'm rambling... Here are three shots of squirrelstaken with exp. set at -1.0. I've printed these and they came out looking just great.

Here's the first.

Nice detail. I generally back off the exposure on any critter with white in it as well. It makes a world of a difference.
