Thanks for taking time to comment. It was an overcast day. I normally would have set to around 1/2000. But these two were only 1/1000 resulting in the blurry wing details. Some people like it that way

great shots daniel. the head and eyes of the gull are super sharp. you nailed the focus. i think the little bit of blur at the wingtips adds to the sense of action and flight and works well for this composition.
