The only reason Im posting this is I like the silhouette and hair detail all around the squirrel. What do you think?

Whoa, Bynx what kind of squirrel is that. I have never seen one so dark. Looks like he fell down a chimney flue. It is an interesting shot though.

All the squirrels around here are either jet black or medium grey. This one climbs up 5 stories to get on my balcony and help himself to the birdseed. No cropping involved thats as it came out of the camera.

We have a few of those around here. There is a small town in KS which is known for its black squirrels.

hahaha on the contrary calicajun, this squirrel is a little butterball. Well fed and rather young it is pretty cute to watch. Out of the many squirrels around here (my apt bldg is surrounded by trees) it is the only one who scales to the top to get at my feeder.

Nice shot Bynx. I particularly like the reflection in his/her eye. It really makes the photo. The hair detail makes him/her look lovable and cuddly.. bet he would bite the poo out of ya if you tried to pick him up.

Cheers,

Bill
