I have an area about fifteen minutes from my home that has dozens of Eagles along the Minnesota River. I set up low and near the open area's of water where they fish to get these shots.

If any of you guys plan on coming to MN this winter, I'd be happy to take you to this little area of Eagle paradise. :-)

These may be the best Bald Eagle shots I have seen - and I have seen a lot! Absolutely stunning!

Fantastic shots...what equipment did you use ? Will the Eagles be staying much longer or as winter progresses, will the river freeze up and the big birds migrate south ?

No matter what light, Buzzsaw you are unbeatable. #1 is just bravo, like a jet fighter flying low for bombing.

Excellent!! I actually like the low light and subdued color on these shots. Very impressive... what was your shutter speed?
