Enough back and forth and trying to make a decision. On Sunday I click order on the Adorama site. I have made some changes to my original wish list. Adorama has assured me the new camera will be one with the fix and the newest firmware. I am ordering on Sunday so I hope to have everything by the end of the week. My guess is this will be a big learning curve but the good thing about that is I have to be out in the woods to learn how to use it.

A BIG THANK YOU to everybody that posted and for your ideas. I printed every post and read them all more than once. Tripods, Monopods and some other accessories. I already have so you will not see them on my order.

My 65th Birthday gift to me. Wish me luck.

WOW! That's quite the gift. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your amazing work Roger.

I'm interested in seeing how you like the 1D MKIII - that body is high on my wish list.

Good luck with the new "Kit".

Jim

Big congrats from me. Super nice set of equipment and I know you're the guy to make the most of it.

All the best with your new set-up

Congratulations Roger!! I'll live vicariously through you until I strike it rich! Awesome choice of lenses and gear you've made. You'll love the speed of the Canon and the IS on the long lenses. They really do perform. I look forward to viewing your new results soon....cheers...Don
