This is a very intriguing photo. The body of the picture has a very soft, almost out of focus look, yet the face of the fox is sharp and clear. It really makes one focus on the eyes of the fox. Very interesting, thanks for sharing.

My best fox shot is like a pimple on a landscape, I am very jealous of your photo op as well as impressed by your photo. I agree with Steve on the outer "softness" and how it all surrounds the main part of the photo, that cute face.

Great shot. I'd love to get a shot like this.The only fox I've seensince I've started taking pictures was runningvery fast. He definitely saw me before I saw him.

Thanks for the nice comments.

The fox was running around in the same area for a while, and I think this moment was the only time he sat still for a second. Maybe a branch or piece of grass made the photo blurry in the foregound because I definitely didn't plan that blur--but I'm very pleased how it turned out.
