I've been hoping to get a few elk shots lately as someone has hinted at a location where I might be able to grab a shot of one. This shot is lovely and inspires me towards "elk" shooting

magnificent elk you managed to capture. my only suggestion would be to try to open up the apeture more so that you can get more separation between the subject and the background. the background is quite sharp and in focus and tends to distract from the subject. looking forward to seeing more of your work. happy new years!
