spotted this little towhee in the underbrush, and waited a bit for him to come out in the open. he never did completely, but he got close enough to let me snap this shot. he was all fluffed up to keep warm, sitting in the sun, and that bright orange eye was just too good to pass up...

Hey, great Towhee Rocky! Love that eye...They seem a little more cooperative around here right now. Once spring arrives, they'll be hard to get....cheers...Don
