YIPEEEE Baldy in flight

Before today I had 96 bald eagle photos in my photo gallery and not one flying. Today I finally got a couple I am going to keep.

I was in some oak brush trying to get to the top of a ridge to get a shot of a doe and her baby from last June. I saw something move out of the corner of my eye so up came the BushHawk and press went the shutter button. He was in a tree that I couldn't see until almost to the top of the ridge.

YIPEEEE, YAHOOOO I got me one of them Bald Eagles flying.

You can even see some snow falling off of the limb.

Hey, hey, hey, nice goining Roger. Nothing gives a better warm fuzzy feeling in the pit of your stomach than a nice series of Bald Eagle flight shots. Those are outstanding. #7 should find a place on the wall.
Congrats,
Steve

Great job Roger - that new lens is picking up some fine detail. Makes it look like that eagle is coming to get you!

Had the new set up less than a month now and I am feeling better about it. Still a lot to learn but that is OK. Thanks for the kind words.

Jim, thank you for the kind comment. So far I am a happy camper with both the Mark 3 and the Canon 500mm lens.
