The weather has been rotten for taking pictures the last 2-3 weeks. So, I dug into the archives and found some shots from back in November. Back then the Snow geese were still contently feeding on the refuges so as to avoid the hunters. Here is a flock that took off just as I rolled up.

Thanks Hung, I don't know which was louder, the wing beats or the honking. It was pretty impressive for sure. I love being in the thick of it when they all take flight.

Wow Steve! That's a lot of Geese!!!! Looks like the skies over JFK I'll bet on a busy day...Nicely done!!....cheers...Don
