Thanks for the great photos, my daughter, her husband and my 2 young grandsons just moved to Chama in August and this is one heck of a first winter for them. I live in Socorro and think it's cold here until I see you in Chama in the -20's.

I'm glad I found this website as I love your photos and think Chama is so beautiful even under 150 inches of snow.

I realize this is not wildlife but since this forum is like a 2nd home to me and I have lots of friends here I figured I would let everybody know my wife and I are fine. Associated press has picked up the story in fact they are using 3 of my photos so If any of you see the story and relate us to Chama, New Mexico NOT TO WORRY we are just fine.

I did spend the day taking photos for our village to use to help them get some federal & state help. If anybody would like to see them here is a link to them.

I will be back to Wildlife photos in a couple of days.

wow... now THAT is a lot of snow! how much is normal there, Roger?

great job with the pics showing the magnitude of the snowfall... i 'specially like the one of the pathway dug from the house to (presumably) the street!

glad to hear you an' the missus are safe and warm, hope you have plenty of firewood stacked up, and lots of vittles in the pantry!! :G
