Nice and close, Don! Did you use the 300 F4 on these? BTW, what kind of Finch is that? Looks like a House Sparrow.

Hi VP. You're right about it being a sparrow, but my book looks more like a Song Sparrow, than a House Sparrow. Some of these are so close, it's hard to tell...but I think it's a Song Sparrow..

Yes, this was the 300L f4 with the 1.4tc attached. It's a good combo in good light...............cheers...Don

that first shot is killer. the over the shoulder look is a great pose that you managed to capture. super sharp and spot on exposure to get all the details in the feathers. excellent work don.
