that's what this little towhee probably thought... but see him i did! and judging by this shot, the nice folks at Canon definitely got the backfocusing problem solved - my 100-400L is dead on now!

thanks, guys... i've been a bit limited by the weather of late, but occasionally it'll brighten up enough to go out in the yard and look for tweety birds. actually, shooting in the blackberry thickets is good practice; if i can get a lock on these little fellas lurking among the brambles, "targets" out in the open should be a snap! can't wait for spring!!
