Spotted this big mama flying overhead and decided to track her.....





She landed on a power pole and I got the vicious stare-down!:evil:



I guess this is why. I could only get about 200 yards from the nest due to thick palmetto brush.....and I didn't wanna rile up Mama any more. There were two igglets in there.



Mama in a tree adjacent to the nest.

Fascinating photos Timinator! Love the Melborne area...My Grandfather used to run a small fishing camp over on Sebastian Island back in the 40's and 50's.
