My camera and lens have been in the shop now for 3 weeks. All I can do seems to be admire other folks photos. Today I looked back at some of my very first shots almost a year ago. My little claim to fame (at least in my mind) was this Merlin my son spotted. It had just caught lunch, and was having a feast.

Before I bought the camera, I would play with photos given to me. So before I had pictures of my own to edit, I was already using a photo program. I believe the experience really comes in handy. Well for me it does anyway. This is just an example of work to enhance one of my favorite shots. Hope you enjoy it.

I know you can relate to the work involved.

-Will
