awesome shot mike. vibrant colors and a unique pose that gives the viewer a great look at the interesting plumage patterns. i like the vertical framing and the grassy background but i think you could have cropped a bit more off the top of the image. just my 2 cents.

Hung, I normally would agree, but since I took this photo with the thought of it making a book cover, I needed to leave the space at the top. Good eye on your part, however comp is something that I always have in mind. :-)
