not much out today - aside from a kingfisher that kept flitting around cackling at the world and hovering over the lagoon looking for fish, the only subjects at hand were a few green-winged teals...

Nice, if it took you days to capture this it would of been worth it. You done did gooood.

thanks, Roger. these little guys are common at this park, and not terribly shy... they'll often come within a few yards of shore. if there's nothing else alive at that park, i can always count on the teals... :G

Rocky, Outstanding shot ofa Green-winged teal!! I really like that pose as its showing all thedetail and coloringofthe GW Teal. I'm just now seeing these guys show up here and hope I get the opportunity to get one in good light.
