this 'teenage' moorhen does not look happy. i think it is the only chick left of three and its mother seems to have disappeared, too.

muscovy ducklings . . . this is the second batch of the year and numbers 15. the first has 12 ducklings.

I like the diagonal display of the little ducks here. The soft touch adds to the artistic feel of the shot.

What cuteness in the duckling photo. At 1st glance their little beaks look like wild spring violets in the grass!
