-> I was quite fortunate actually: This setting was already pre-set by the make believe world of Disney's Coronado Spring resort as I was jogging along its trails in the early morning hour. When I saw this little guy I ran up to the room to get the camera but the light had yet to catch up...

Hi NHL,

Wow... lovely unique looking bird. I haven't seen a similar bird to that one. So is it actually related to the Great Heron? (e.g. little 3rd cousin twice removed?)

It looks very small. Love the colours. Great composition you've arranged there... and yes, the flowers actually compliment the bird's aqua-ish coloured plumage.

Thanks for running back to get your lens in this lovely early morning light! Seems you lead an active / healthy lifestyle ie jogging early mornings! which is good.
