Caught this lady as she took off from a rail fence yesterday



I look forward to the arrival of the indigo buntings simply because I like their color so much.



Yesterday was also the first time I've seen a female summer tanager in my woods. I hope I get the opportunity to photograph both her and her mate more this summer.

Great variety and poses Paul! I'm with you on that Bunting, I'd love to have the opportunity tophotograph an Indigo Bunting.

Very nice Paul! The Bunting is a beauty, and to see a Cardinal spreading his wings...very nice!!...cheers..Don
