these redwinged blackbird chicks were waiting for mom or dad to bring them some breakfast. the nest is hidden in some dead cattails about 8 feet from a boardwalk at the park near my house, and it's hard to find unless you know where to look, but i was able to zoom in to capture this little fella squawking for food... 40D, 400mm, 1/1250 @ f/7.1...
