the first cedar waxwings have appeared at the park... this one was, as usual, up in the branches (i wish just once one would come down to eye level!), but i was still able to get some decent shots of him... 40D, 400mm, 1/1600 @ f/6.3...

Hi Rocky. Haven't checked in lately. Been very busy. Yeah, you're right..tough crowd!!. These are awesome! Perfect detail and exposure. That 100-400 is a pretty sweet lens if you ask me. I don't see much giving away from the primes from your posts. Great stuff!...cheers...Don

Nice job on getting these high perchers. About as tough as they come for getting low level shots. I had some in the yard a few days ago still. (up high)
