Tonight was the first night out in a while. The hawk was very cooperative and gave a few poses before leaving. It was quite windy tonight so I took these from the open window of a rocking truck!

These are straight from the camera without processing - only cropping.

I agree!! Wonderful portraiture of a beautiful hawk. I'm really liking the soft brown and tan tones in these shots..gives a nice rustic feel to the composition.

very cool capture. i like the shot with it's beak open. the barb wire in the background also adds to the badass nature of this bird of prey. lol.
