Default Few birds

Hey Everyone,

Im not sure if my stuff doesnt appeal to many others. Or maybe Im just not to popular. But I keep trying... Anywho. Here are a few pictures from a zoo/bird aviary I was at a few weeks ago. Not sure exactly what birds these are. But they seem very pretty.

Default Howdy - and yes, we like your work.

Russell,
Well, I can't speak for others, but I am enjoying veiwing your increasingly better photos. I see improvement as you learn better techniques, and gain a better feel of the camera / lenses.

Sorry, but I have no idea what either bird is (first appears to be in the parrot family, and the other a dove like).

Please do keep on posting.

Jody

Yeah that first bird, you would have to be there to really appreciate the photo I guess. These birds are increadably fast and big. Maybe just alittle smaller then a peacock and run like the wind. Just wish the other bird wasnt behind him at the time.

Yeah, I admit... I still do not know all the techniques and every other thing about photography. I mean heck, I just found out a few weeks ago what a big fstop really does other then a faster shutter speed. So therefor I bought that Sigma lens. Some practice with that Im sure Ill beable to get other great photos.

Thanks

I do mostly birds myself, so I can appreciate the shots. I just haven't been looking at many in this section.

You might consider a shot from a lower angle next time. The tradeoff would be that the back bird would have been more blocked. I don't know if it would have helped, but it might.

I think you got the exposure right on and the focus is great.
