Well, this is a wow one for me, Don. I've gotten within a few feet of these birds but have definitely never felt their claws did into my hands yet.

I was just as ecstatic as you were while I was handfeeding a woodpecker and taking image of it with my camera from my right hand two years ago. It was so light weight as it was non-existant.

Daniel- you're so right. They're so light you can hardly tell they're standing on your finger.

Steve - don't think this would work with Eagles, but I'll give it a go :G....cheers...Don

great stuff, Don... i can usually get within a few feet of them at the park near my house, but never tried feeding them... of course, if they did come eat out of my hand, they'd be about three feet too close for my lens to focus on!! :G
