I shot these last week. These guys are my favorite bird. I love some of the looks and poses they can dish up. There are lots of them about now, but they still prove to be a challenge to photo. Most of the times they stay obscured behind branches and leaves usually up high out of sight. Sorry about the white skies, but that's about all we're getting these days.........cheers....Don

nice catches, Don! i love these little guys too... i like the way their feathers hang over the branches, like little footwarmers! :lol:

Great shots Don.. I photographed some of these last week but they were so backlite that I decidednot to post.Yours are the shots I wished I had taken!

Thanks Rocky and Kent. They're a bit of a challenge lighting wise. Have to boost the EV comp way up to get any detail shooting up towards white skies....cheers....Don

Those are very nice Don, I saw lots of them when I was in Canada visiting, but I never see them around here for some reason.
