Could never really get a clear shot of this bird as it dartedthrough the canary grass looking for bugs to feed its young. The wind wasrustlingthe grass and would either move the bird out of frame or place a blade in front of him. What a work out ...

nice catch, Kent... these little guys are hard to get. they don't often come out in the open, and they seldom sit still for long!

I feel your pain Kent! I was on the water this weekend trying to do the same with a RWBB - from a boat.Under the circumstances, I think that's a fine capture. Cheers, Dan

Wow!! Great shot Kent! Excellent detail. Looks like you were plenty close to this guy. They do like to hide amongst reeds and leaves, don't they?....cheers...Don

Don, the grass height is just over my head which allowed for some concealment andeye levelshots.Once the little guy showed up I just waited until the wind cleared the grass enough to get a shot. The oneposted is the clearest from a series of 50 shots.
