That first one reminds me of a mustachioed character from the early days of television -- Jerry Colonna (sp?). Great catch. Wintering Waxwings never let you get that close around here - always in the tops of big Ficus trees chowing down on the little figs. In a photograph they wouldlook like a swarm of bees flying between trees! :-?
