I shot these at ISO 500 and it seems to do a better job than a lower ISO for me. What ISO do the rest of you use for birds and bugs in flight?

Nice shots, but I would use a lower ISO if I were you in that bright sunlight.

Thank you . I used the higher to stop the action. I always get too much blur when i use a more normal ISO. I have a new lens on order that may solve that problem.

Great colors and detail in the first shot! In the light you seem to have there, a lower ISOshould still give you enough speed to stop the Bee in flight.
