Here's a few more waxwings...





a curious youngster



a puffed up Spotted Towhee



a busy worker...



a swallow in the rain....



a Kingfisher...full crop. I've yet to get any closer than this to one of these varmints!



and a chickadee looking over it's shoulder at moi...cheers...Don

They are all fantastic! Don't know how far you were from the kingfisher but, it's a great pic.
Love the last one. Sometimes birds can look so comical.:-)

The bee shot is absolutely beautiful ! It's crisp, well-composed and the colors are stunning together ! Make's me a bit jealous ... Congrats !

awesome shots don. i especially like the bee macro. you really should post more macro shots. i think you would do very well at it with your 300mm f4 IS and 1.4x tc.

LOL, Don. The Chickadees can sure give some dirty looks can't they? I'm counting time until the Waxwings find their way back south.

Excellent shot on the bee! The Kingfishers are usually tough, so you got a pretty nice shot on this one.
