Last Hummers 2008

I just finished going thru my folders and found a few I am keeping. These are from Chama, New Mexico & Portal Arizona.

Roger, #1 & #3 are a Blue-throated Hummingbird, and #2 a Calliope. these are the largest and smallest hummingbirds in the US (in fact the Calliope is the smallest of all North American birds). You are going to extremes, again :G Nice going!

Real nice work Roger - as usual. We don't often get hummingbirds here. Occasionally they will stop by during migration.

Wow! Those are absolutely amazing. I've been shooting hummers since the Summer of 2001 and have managed to get some nice shots, but those are completely awesome. Outstanding work, Roger!
