I was looking for ravens but this vulture wanted his photo taken, don't you think? I shot him with a Nikon D300 and 400mm lens ( 70-200mm + teleconverter)

I'm guessing a modified shot with the moon added in PP.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"The moon would have been waxing (visible on the right hand side) rather than waning as shown here, also with only about 4% visible on this date rather than almost the 1/4.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I have no real issue with modified work as long as it is pointed out so people know what they are looking at.

Thank you all. Yes, Mark. I could not resist because the moon was on the same SD card and the colors matched so well. The rest is almost straight from the camera, though.
