Amongst a bunch of noisy crows this (hawk?) was sitting on top of this lightpole. If it is a hawk it's the largest one I've seen around here. The white breast is also not normal for hawks in this area.

Looks like a juvenile Red-tailed hawk.

Because of the chest band, I agree, red-tailed hawk. Very nice photo.

I'd say Tim's is a juvenile...Mike's is an adult - see the difference?
