The expected rain unexpectedly didn't show up so I packed up and drove the 40 miles to the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge to shoot some wildlife.
Here are some of today's results. Thanks for looking, comments are always welcome.

This was the most cooperative Pheasant I've ever photographed. He just kept picking at the bugs and grass for 20 minutes while I clicked away.

A couple of snow geese heading off the refuge at sundown. I just got lucky with the light.
