If anyone is interest I can email you an actions file for Photoshop which helps cut the time down in creating your OOB.

Go Paul! That is so cool. That's an great effect. It's not too hard either is it paul? Just a little time consuming but the result is well worth the effort I think.
Nice job. I'm going to try another picture tonight if I can get time.

Well done,
Steve
It is definitely a lot of fun, and surprisingly easy for the final result. I've been playing with the effect all evening, playing with sports photos and portraits as well as nature shots. One of my other efforts.

Paul, I love that one. This is addicting. I too have been messy with this all evening as well.

Here are my two experiments for tonight. All that fur on his head was a pain.

The dog is nice, Steve, but the monkey is fantastic. The fur on the head, I'm sure, was a total pain, but it was worth the effort...really nice job.

Paul

Sorry to resurrect this thread but I have been re-worker the original picture and I also added one more Out of Bounds edit.
Thanks for your patience.
Steve

1st the original with a little more contrast, sharpening and other small adjustments. I also removed a couple of ducks that just were not aesthetically pleasing in their location.
