I bought an a350 in part to use my old Minolta 500 AF Reflex (mirror) Lens which I used a lot on film. On these first shote (and the other six threads posted earlier here) I left the camera on its defaults. I found that a 750 (775 according to MP Mag) equivalent is hard to hand hold steady in part due to the light weight of the lens, and I should have boosted the ISO to increase shutter speed, rather than letting the camera decide - therefore many of the images required sharpening - even oversharpening - and and are not the best, but, taking that into account, it still provides an example of what the lens can do - all images are cropped jpegs.

In this series, bills of different curvature are shown, along with the final set that shows what happens when one of these specialized beaks is not used as "intended."

1 What do you do if you are a Willet with a straight bill?
