I asked for an ID on a strange bird and was told it was a Cedar Waxwing. Well he came back and brought a whole flock with him. The decided to roost in my black oak in my front yard so I took some group photos of them. Hope you like them.

So! You found a flock of waxwings just like I described~! Cool! Did you hear their soft whistle-like calls? You really caputured the gray-blue on their tails. That's hard to see usually!

Yep they were calling. I haven't seen them any more though. I still keep an eye out for them but I think this group has moved on.
