Default First Time Capture - Flycatcher

While birding in a local park a few weeks ago I came to a dead halt at the sound of a bird I had never heard before. The call was a clear "pweet", at 10 to 15 second intervals. I walked toward the sound and eventually discovered and followed this bird for about 20 minutes. I checked with a well known birding enthusiast in my area who told me that it is Great-Crested Flycatcher. It had the uncanny ability to put branches between itself and me. Anyways I managed a few captures, to add to my list of newfound birds in 2009. Cheers, Dan

Flycatchers are relatively secrative so photos of them are often special. Good photos are even more rare. Good pnotos
