Beats me, but this little girl was very cautious, seemed to know all about the dangers of cars; looked both ways, waited, and finally made a dash across the highway. No sweat...

Our wild Turkey is NOT the ancestor of our domestic Turkey. They prove over and over again that they are very clever birds indeed.
