This is a Great Bald Eagle still in his Blue Jay outfit after a nite of Halloweening.

Looks a little soft and over-saturated on my monitor. Good costume, though!

The softness is part of the disguise.

Here is the original shot. It was a quick turn and shoot without thinking.
The turning and shooting part was ok. It was the without thinking part that wasnt good.

Bwahahahahahah! I have many wildlife shots that meet the above criteria. Unfortunately I can't post one now, because they are one with the ether!

I did however once get lucky, a Juvenile Black Crowned Night Heron flew over my head. I turned, raised my scope, fired, and fell over backwards...

The shot actually came out...

When I first started shooting handheld with my 800mm 'scope, about one in twenty came out. I could easily exceed the softness of your Bluejay if I posted one of the 19...

The shot in question, while far from perfect, actually came out, even though I was in the process of falling when I took it. Saved the camera, gave up my head...

Sucker was moving pretty fast.

I've never posted it on any board before. It has no merit, except the merit of saying, "You never know."
