There were plenty of Snow geese out today too.

Ever wonder how they can find a spot in such a crowd? You can almost see the concentration on their faces in the first two!

Thanks, We are smack in the middle of the Pacilfic flyway. Approximately 44% of the Pacific Flyway waterfowl population winters in the Sacramento Valley. Three million ducks and three-quarters of a million geese migrate here.
It's awesome for wildlife photographers.

LOL, I have no idea how they do it either. I can only guess that their birds-eye view helps them spot an opening.
