Default 1st Year Bald Eagle just fledged

This is a really young Bald Eagle that I believe just fledged not too long ago.
The light was pretty flat because of all of the clouds. I did try to bring out the detail a little in post. I hope it's not too severe. There was a Peregrine falcon in the branch below him and as he took off he dove on the falcon flushing it from the tree.g

#3 Now things get a little soft as I couldn't bump up the shutter because of the dim light.

#6 I know this one is really not very sharp but I love the look in his eye. The falcon is about 5-6 feet right in front of him. I only wish I could have gotten both of them in the same frame.

I do like those action pictures...quite a predator, even at such a young age.

Nice series. The third one looks like tight rope walker. Fun

Thank you both. He was acting just like a rascally boy with plenty of mischief afoot.

I believe this is the same juvenile I shot about a week ago.
