Love # 1. I have seen these birds all my life, and was impressed by their grace and beauty, whether in flight or at rest. Not until I saw your photo did I realize I had apparently never seen their feet. They remind me of the rubber chicken feet we used to buy at the local five and dime. And who says God doesn't have a sense of humor?

Steve, I love your shots. Here in Florida, we have quite a variety of Herons and Egrets but the Snowy has always been my favorite. especially in breeding plumage!
