Default Mockingbird in the thicket

Our East Tennessee Mockingbirds are having a busy winter - defending their berry thickets from all intruders! This one was so happy for the bit of sunshine that he let me get fairly close.

I like the crop better.

But the original works...

Mockingbirds often drive me nuts, since they are so good at immitating other birds, they have me diving into thick brush looking for various birds whose songs I recognise...
