Gary - I had plenty of time to play with exposure - these guys weren't going anywhere fast! Your Far Side reminds of another one, where the vultures are gathered at a "feast" and one says something like "Thanks Goodness for Ketchup!"

Mugmar - Glad you have a chance to enjoy Long Hunter. I don't get there very often - it's a long drive from NE TN. Another great park for nature photography that is very close to Nashville is Radnor Lake State Park. Have you visited there? Here's the park I work at:

Littlejohn - As Penolta said, sometimes these guys do a bit of work to "speed up the process" of critter becoming dinner...

That's some real nice captures Marty. The first shot in particular is so reflective of this species of bird. Looks like your new / old lens is a keeper. Cheers, Dan
