Default Coming up to say "Hi"

Hi everyone, I'm brand new on the forum. I'm excited to explore this forum and learn. I've been browsing around here a little and the advice, expertise and kindness seem just what I'm looking for!

For my first post, I'll contribute one of my favorite pics. Several humpback whales came right up to (and under!) our boat just off the Big Island in Hawaii back in December. I fired off hundreds of pictures, it was a truly incredible experience. D90 @ 105mm

I am sooooooo green with envy, that I'm going to say that this is an awful, lousy, rotten shot! Sheesh, I have to out and out lie like this to protect my fragile ego...

Great shot, that must have been an amazing event have so many humpback around our boat and that close.
